“I bought these Women Height boots because I too was looking for a leather slouchy boot. I also wanted some in a cognac color which has been harder to find this year. I received my boots last week and I have mixed feelings. The styling and the color is very nice, but the leather appears very delicate. Mine arrived with a sticky spot at the top which I have not been able to get out, but would not be noticable to anyone else. I look for these to be easily scratched as the leather feels very thin and less durable than any leather I’ve seen before. These probably would not be the boots to wear in the snow but would work perfectly for fall or early spring. I bought a 9 and I am typically a 8.5 in steve madden shoes and the 9 fit perfectly.
